Insightly CRM 

Design Refresh

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing a modern, intuitive user experience, we’ve refreshed the Insightly platform with a cleaner and more cohesive design.
This update introduces a series of visual enhancements designed to improve usability and consistency across the interface — including updates to page headers, button colors, and navigation elements.

Highlights of the Changes:

  • Custom App background colors are now configurable, allowing greater personalization.
  • Page headers have been redesigned with updated colors and styles for a more streamlined look.
  • Object state colors now align with the specific product the user is working in, enhancing clarity.
  • Favorite icons have been refreshed across the platform.
  • Top navigation has received visual updates, including improved color schemes and styling for search inputs, action buttons, and select menus. 

Full Email Inbox Sync

Previously, Insightly’s email sync feature supported one-way syncing of emails and attachments, along with built-in tools for notifications, attachment management, and a more organized, automated communication experience. Now, we’re taking things a step further. Insightly CRM has evolved from a reply-only sync model to full bi-directional inbox sync. This upgrade enables seamless, two-way communication between Insightly and your external email provider.

Highlights of the Changes:

  • Emails can now flow both ways between Insightly and external providers (Google, Microsoft or Outlook). View, send, and reply to emails from either side — and keep everything in sync.
  • Emails sent outside of Insightly are now automatically captured — as long as they involve your existing leads or contacts. CRM stays up to date in near real time.

Full Email Sync will also change the way Contacts and Leads are created in the CRM:

  • When a email is synced (and it will sync if there's an existing contact or lead that has the matching email address on the email)
  • It will create a link to that Contact or Lead
  • It will create a link to related Org if any
  • If the user has opted-in for Entity Creation from User Settings -> Email Settings
  • It will create related Contact and Org and link those too if there's more than one email address associated with that email

Combined Email Settings 

We’ve streamlined the email settings experience. 

You can now manage everything from a single, unified page, including:

  • Email Accounts

  • Link & Mailbox Settings

  • Email Signature

  • Manual Email Forwarding

This streamlined setup makes it easier to:

  • Set up and edit your email signature

  • Choose your primary synced email

  • Sync or de-sync accounts with a single click
