This article is part of the Insightly Reporting Guide.
In order to export data from your Insightly account, your Insightly administrator must enable this option for you.
You can use your report's raw data to a file that can be used to manipulate the information in a spreadsheet program, like Excel, or create your own graphs in a reporting program, like PowerBI.
A report export includes only the raw data from the report. Groupings, summaries, and charts are not exported.
To export your report data:
- Run the report.
- Click Actions and select Export to Excel or Export to CSV.
- Insightly will display a message at the top of the screen confirming the export has been requested.
- When your file is ready, you will receive an email with a link to download the file. Click the link and save the file to your computer. (The link will be valid for 30 days.)
- Now, you can open or import the file into your spreadsheet program or reporting tool, where you can manipulate the data or create your own charts.
A report can also be emailed to you automatically on a schedule or when certain conditions are met with schedules and alerts. These features are available with a paid Insightly subscription.
If you don't receive an email with your report, check your email program's spam folder and settings.
