Share Tickets and Knowledge Articles with CRM Users
If your Insightly account includes Insightly Service, but you have only given some of your users access to the application, you can now share tickets and knowledge articles with users that do not have a Service license using the Read All and Modify All permissions.

See Which Records Were Successfully Updated and Which Weren't with the Bulk Update Results Email
When users bulk update records using a list view, they will now receive an email with which records were updated successfully. For records that were not updated successfully during the bulk update, the email will include the reason for the update failed. This update impacts all users who are updating records using a list view in any Insightly application.

Whenever a user has linked two records or has removed a link from two records, these events will now appear in both record’s audit logs. This update impacts all users who rely on audit logs for data security.

Exports Now Appear in Audit Logs
Whenever a user exports records, these events will now be logged in the record’s audit logs and will identify who performed that export. This update impacts all users who rely on audit logs for data security.

Optimize Your Search Results With Search Layouts
Insightly admins can now create search layouts, which allow them to choose which fields will appear when their users perform a lookup search or when they use the global search bar. These layouts can be assigned to different profiles, giving admins the maximum ability to customize the fields and the order they appear in base on their user’s needs.

Filter Contact and Opportunity List Views by Primary Linked Organization Fields
All fields from the primary linked organization have been added to contact and opportunity list views in CRM. Users will be able to filter contacts and opportunities by standard and custom fields from the primary linked organization, so long as they have permission to view the linked organization record. This update impacts all users who are creating list views in Insightly CRM.

Filter Lead and Contact List Views by Marketing Prospect Fields
All prospect fields have been added to contact and lead list views in CRM. If the account has access to CRM and Marketing, users will be able to filter contacts and leads by standard and custom prospect fields, so long as they have permission to view the prospect object. This update impacts all users who are creating list views in Insightly CRM.

UI and Search Improvements to Add Products to Opportunities and Quotes
The following updates have been made to the process of adding a product to an opportunity or quote record:
- Description field will now display the full description. This allows users to view longer descriptions that don’t fit into the column space.
- Added a new column, Product Family.
- The List Price, Product Family and Product Code columns are now set to a fixed width of 150px.
- Under Selected Products, the Description field box has been expanded. The Quantity, Sale Price, and Discount columns now have a fixed width of 150px.
- Hovering over the plus icon to add a product now has a pointer cursor.
- Major improvements have been made to the search and filter feature.
- Users now have the ability to filter by multiple fields and search within a list.
- Users can now add up to eight filters to filter products within the price book’s product list. Any list view filters applied will not be saved. The columns available to filter by includes all non-system columns, not just columns visible in the list.

Use a Contact Email Templates When Emailing Contacts Linked to an Organization, Opportunity, or Project
When emailing the contacts linked to an organization, opportunity, or project from the record's Related tab, you now have the option to select contact email templates. This functionality is accessible by clicking the Email Contacts button in the Related Contacts grid on the Related tab of an organization, opportunity, or project. This update impacts all users who are emailing contacts via the Related tab in Insightly CRM.
