Important Notice
Office 365 users who have setup an Office 365 email account for sending emails out through Insightly or to utilize Calendar Sync prior to October 1st, 2022 will be required to reconfigure authentication due to Microsoft’s migration from their previous basic authentication process to OAuth.

Insightly has increased the number of columns displayed on reports to 50. This applies to all reports utilized in any Insightly product.

Browser Session Expiration Notification

Insightly will utilize its notification system to send an alert to users 60 seconds before their session is timing out (sessions timeout after a 2 hour period of inactivity). If a user wants to keep their session active, they will need to click the notification. In the event that the notification is not clicked and the session expires, the user will be redirected to the login page; redirection to the login page will occur even if there are unsaved changes on the page being viewed at the time of the session expiration.
Lock Dashboard Card Position

Users can now lock the positions of all dashboard cards on a single dashboard. Once enabled, users will not be allowed to resize any cards or change their position. Additionally, changing the size of the browser will not alter the size or position of the cards. By default, this setting is not enabled; after enablement, users can disable the feature.

Convert Prospects into Contacts

Users can now convert prospect records into contact records. This can be accomplished through a prospect record’s Actions dropdown or through the finish action creation process. Prospects that are linked to a contact can not be converted.

The Last Reply From field defines who (contact or agent) the last reply to a ticket was received from. The Last Reply From field is now available for selection when filtering list views; it can also be added to page layouts and utilized in reporting.

The System Events tab within tickets has been updated to the Audit Log tab. The Audit Log tab displays system events (identified by a gear icon) as well as user events (identified by a user’s avatar).

Email Notification Recipients Update

Previously, AppConnect task usage notifications were through email to the admin who initially setup AppConnect. Now, Insightly Administrators can select which users will receive email notifications when the account’s task usage limit is approaching.

Delete Events Now Displays All Standard Fields

Historically, delete events in Insightly AppConnect only displays the message ID, record, ID, and name. Insightly has enhanced delete events and they will now display all standard fields for a record.

Time Zone in AppConnect Now Synced with Insightly User Settings

When a new user is added to AppConnect, their time zone will correspond with the time zone they selected in their User Settings within Insightly CRM. If the user’s time zone is later updated within CRM, their time zone will also be updated in AppConnect.
