Insightly CRM

✉️ Email Inbox Sync

We've launched Email Inbox Syncing to streamline your email communication within Insightly CRM. With this feature, any email sent from Insightly is automatically synced with your connected inbox (e.g., Gmail, O365 or Outlook). When someone replies to that email, their response is logged in Insightly as a new email record and will appear under "My Sent Emails" or "My Received Emails", depending on the direction of the communication. This feature is available across all pricing plans and helps ensure no message is missed, while reducing manual effort and improving data accuracy. 

To enable real-time syncing, go to Profile > User Settings > Email Inbox Sync and add your email account. Email Inbox Sync applies only when the first email is sent from Insightly CRM. All subsequent replies from your inbox related to that conversation will be automatically tracked and synced.

⚙️ Explicit AppConnect Trigger for Calculated Fields

We’ve introduced a new checkbox option—"Trigger any related AppConnect recipes"—on the create/edit pages for calculated fields. This option appears on the Calculated Field screen and is unchecked by default. To trigger any associated AppConnect recipes, users must manually check the box during field creation or editing.

👤 Create Contacts from Email Replies

We’re improving the email management experience with a new feature that allows users to create a Contact directly from an email reply received from an unknown sender.

When a reply is received from an email address not linked to an existing Contact, a new option—"Add New Contact for Email"—will appear in the Actions menu. Selecting this option opens the Create Contact form, automatically pre-filled with the sender’s email address, enabling users to quickly and seamlessly add them as a new Contact.

🎨 Updated Theme Colors

As part of our ongoing design system refresh, we've updated CRM app theme color to a vibrant orange theme, and the SERVICE app now features a fresh green theme. These visual updates create a more modern and cohesive experience across the platform.
