Design Refresh
As part of our ongoing commitment to providing a modern user experience, we’ve made several visual and usability improvements across the Insightly platform to make navigation smoother and the interface easier to use.
What’s new:
- Tabs: Easier to see which tab you’re currently on
- Accordions: Clearer sections so it’s easier to find and expand information
- Filters: More consistent layout for a smoother filtering experience
- Spacing: Cleaner spacing throughout the interface for better readability
- Drawers: Updated look that makes information easier to understand at a glance
- Modals: Improved design for clearer actions and a more seamless experience
Insightly Marketing
Marketing Email and Email Template Permission Updates
We’ve updated how Insightly manages Marketing Emails and Marketing Email Templates to improve permission clarity, navigation, and overall consistency in the Marketing workspace.
Key Improvements:
- New separate object for Marketing Email Templates for clearer management and access control.
- Updated System Settings configured under Security> Profiles for Marketing Email and Marketing Email Template which are visible when you add or edit profile.
- Improved Permission Behavior
- Users only see Emails and Templates they have permission for.
- Navigation items and action buttons (Email / Email Templates) appear only when permitted.
- Permission Mapping Safeguards
- Users who previously had access to Email Templates will retain that access.
- If a user has Marketing Email permission but not Template permission, Insightly will automatically copy Create/Edit/Delete Template permissions from their Marketing Email permissions.
- If a user has Template permissions but not Marketing Email permissions, they may need to manually enable Marketing Email permissions depending on their role.
