Overview
The Insightly Marketing Zoom integration makes it easy to track Zoom activity for your Prospects within Insightly Marketing.

Pre-approval of the Insightly Marketing Application in the Zoom Marketplace
Note
If the app is not pre-approved, please contact your Zoom admin.
Installing the Insightly Marketing Zoom Integration
- From Insightly Marketing, go to System Settings > Integrations.
- Find the Zoom integration. Click Install.
- Click Add to Zoom.
- Zoom will open in a new tab. Sign In to your account.
- Confirm the permissions the app requires and click Authorize.
- Return to Insightly Marketing. The integration status will be updated.
- Under Integration Settings, check the box to allow Insightly to create a Prospect if the email is not currently associated with a Prospect. This box is checked by default.
Select which user will be the record owner by default. - Click Save Settings.
Using the Insightly Marketing Zoom Integration
Prospects will automatically be created for people who register for your Zoom webinars. If they are already in your system, they will be matched by email address.
You can view which webinars a Prospect has registered for and attended under the Activity Timeline tab.
Reports about your webinar registration and attendance can be pulled using a Visitor Integration Activity report. This will provide a full list of who attended, joined, and left any of your Zoom webinars.
Uninstalling the Insightly Marketing Application from Zoom
- Login to your Zoom account and navigate to the Zoom Marketplace
- Navigate to your installed apps via Manage > Installed Apps.
- Click Uninstall next to Insightly Marketing.
- Confirm the dialogue and click Uninstall.
Reports about your webinar registration and attendance can be pulled using a Visitor Integration Activity report. This will provide a full list of who attended, joined, and left any of your Zoom webinars.
Insightly records the following events:
Webinar Participant Joined/Left
Webinar registration Created
Webinar registration Cancelled
Webinar registration Approved
Webinar registration Denied
Finish Actions
You can setup a Finish Action to push webinar signups to Zoom from a Form Handler. The Prospect will need an email address to be registered.
Insightly will check if the Webinar ID exists upon saving the action. If the ID does not exist or if it is invalid, Insightly will return an error.
Once a Zoom action has started running, you will be unable to uninstall the Zoom integration until the action has completed.
- Open the Form Handler record and select the Finish Actions tab. Click Add Finish Action and select Add to Zoom Webinar.
- Give the action a name. Set the conditional criteria.
- Add the Zoom Webinar ID. If the ID is invalid or non-existent, it will result in an error message.
- Click Save Finish Action.
Journeys
If you are using Insightly Marketing, you have the ability to push webinar signups to Zoom from a Journey Action.
Insightly will check if the Webinar ID exists upon saving the action. If the ID does not exist or if it is invalid, Insightly will return an error.
Once a Zoom action has started running, you will be unable to uninstall the Zoom integration until the action has completed.
- Open the Journey you want to configure. A brand new Journey will have a teal gear icon to represent the start and a red square icon to represent the end.
In between the two, there is a plus icon. Click the plus icon. - Click Add Action.
- Select Add to Zoom Webinar.
- Enter the Zoom Webinar ID.
- Click Save.
Check if registered or attended
- Open the Journey you want to configure. A brand new Journey will have a teal gear icon to represent the start and a red square icon to represent the end. In between the two, there is a plus icon. Click the plus icon.
- Click Add Check.
- Select Check Zoom Webinar Attendance or Check Zoom Webinar Registration.
- Enter the Zoom Webinar ID.
- Click Save.
Uninstalling Zoom from the Insightly Marketing Application
- Go to System Settings > Integrations.
- Select the Zoom integration.
- Click Uninstall Integration.

Users that are on a paid version of Insightly can submit tickets to our support team.
To do this, go to the Insightly Help Center and create an account. Use the same email address as you use to sign in to Insightly.
