Add Granular Profile Administrative Permissions
We’ve restructured Insightly's administrative privileges into distinct scopes that align with various roles within a client organization. Administrators will have the authority to create custom profiles with distinct administrative privileges enabled. If a user profile lacks permissions to manage certain aspects of the system settings, those menu options will remain visible within the system settings for users with the corresponding profile. However, attempting to access these settings will result in redirection to the system settings main page with a notification message stating, "You do not have permission to access this system setting." The Administrative Permissions are available under System settings > Security > Profiles.

System Settings Menu Changes
The ordering and headers of the left-hand menu on the System Settings page have been restructured and revised for improved organization of all applications. The options available in the System Settings menu may differ based on the plan and type of permissions.

Update Report Folder sharing to include Roles
The option to share with roles is already available in Dashboard sharing and List View sharing when advanced permissions are enabled. We have now extended this functionality to Report Folders, allowing sharing with a group of users by role, including roles with sub-roles. Additionally, the current permission inheritance for report subfolders will continue to be honored.

Insightly CRM
Allow Pricebook Setting on Opportunity Import
Previously, users could not include Price Book column in the Opportunity import file. Now, they can specify the Price Book Name and Price Book ID on the Opportunity Import page. However, this feature requires that the PPQ (Products, Price Books, and Quotes) module must be enabled in the System Settings..

Allow Pipeline and Stage to be set on manual lead and Opportunity Conversion
We are introducing new fields to set the Project Pipeline and Stage when converting an Opportunity into a Project, provided that one or more pipelines are available for projects. This functionality is also being applied when manually converting a Lead into an Opportunity.
